Who are we?

INSAN for Humanity translates to “human for humanity.” It is a humanitarian pilot project in the U.S. by INSAN Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization, that aims to assist, especially the most vulnerable around us — the homeless, needy, seniors, and children from low-income families in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

INSAN for Humanity has a dual mission:

  • To empower underserved residents in the local communities
  • To promote humanitarian value and volunteerism among students.

Our vision is to not only provide resources to those in need; but also, to educate and instill the importance of helping one another to future generations.

Sadly many people are struggling for the basic essentials of life such as food, clothes, and a roof over the head. Numerous children do not have proper school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils and opportunities of learning in positive environment. Unfortunately, we are not talking about some far away land but right here in America, around our neighborhood.

We believe the best resource any community or any nation has is its people, thus we ought to invest in our fellow humans. Coupled with this mindset, INSAN for Humanity strives to provide the essential help in terms of basic necessities; over and above empower them for the long term transformation of lives.
